Distributed Search
Sharing and querying resource descriptions between peers. Based on Gridvine which creates a semantic overlay network in a 3 tier network composed of the IP networking level, the PGrid distributed hash table and the semantic access layer. The component is described in Deliverable 5.2 as the metadata sharing component.
Status
- Status Implementation: Finished based on a light version of P-Grid. Ongoing integration with P-Grid
- Status Documentation: Mostly done in D5.2
