This part details what were the design and implementation decisions taken after introducing the NEPOMUK Installer, together with the documentation of the installer itself

How can people efficiently transfer knowledge from their minds to their computer tools in a way that they reliably find it again afterwards? This includes wiki-features, visual mapping techniques and other user-interface oriented services.

This subproject interconnects and links all kind of information elements in a personal workspace (i.e., address book entries, files on the desktop, ...). It provides a unified access to information across applications and media types by realizing the Semantic Data Wrapper Framework and complementary information services.

Task Management Support

This subproject implements integrated task management support. It tackles ad-hoc task planning and flexible changes, collaborative work on task, connecting tasks with personal as well as group information objects, and integration into organizational processes.

This subproject provides a distributed search and storage system and the exchange of messages between peers.
