Step 3
If you have run Nepomuk before installing IBM Galaxy API, then Nepomuk must be run once with "-clean" switch (on Windows, run "nepomuk.exe -clean" from Nepomuk installation folder). Otherwise, if this is a clean installation of Nepomuk, this step is unnecessary.
Your first step in Nepomuk
Navigate to the folder where you installed NEPOMUK and start it.
Nepomuk detects what data-sources you have in your computer. You can choose which data-sources you want to have available in Nepomuk. A Data-source is a destination in your computer where your private data is being hold. It may be your documents directory, mailbox in your favourite e-mail client or any other directory on your local hard disk.

Now you will be informed that Nepomuk is starting to read and analyze the data from your data-sources. That means setup has successfully finished. You can see in the Progress View that there are tasks in background. You will be notified when crawling will end. Reading your data can last many hours for the first time.
When setup is finished! You can enjoy your Nepomuk experience. You may want to start by using your PIMO Viewer to work with your data. To learn more abou this go to UsingPimoPerspective?.
Finally please note that, depending on your firewall setting you may need to Unblock the Nepomuk application

Thank you for using Nepomuk!
