Recommendations

This page links to recommendations that are implemented in NEPOMUK, both KDE and Java version. Some recommendations may only be semi-implemented but are work-in progress in relization.

Ontologies

NEPOMUK published multiple recommendations about ontologies and their applied use:

Storing RDF Data

Besides the OntologiesHowTo, some detailled questions are managed on separate recommendation documents addressing individual problems:

URIs

• semdesk URI scheme - the  semdesk:// URI scheme to identify PIMO entities
• RecommendedUris For resources, several prefixes and generation patterns are recommended. This applies for data sources, contexts
