The NEPOMUK project ended in 2008, and after a period of bug-fixing the code is now not being developed further. This is the final release of the NEPOMUK Java Software, its state as of March, 2010. For KDE NEPOMUK development continues, please see http://nepomuk.kde.org/.
Three different versions of NEPOMUK are available:
Nepomuk PSEW is the RCP based graphical frontend for Nepomuk, and includes all the components developed in the project. As the project is over it is no longer maintained. This download includes the server backend.

MacOSX
LinuxNepomukServer is only the backend part of Nepomuk. It includes a limited frontend as web pages, but is mainly suited for developing other applications on top. The NepomukServer download works on Windows, Linux, and MacOSX.
DFKI Nepomuk is a version of Nepomuk maintained by DFKI - it includes less features than the real PSEW above, but some of the core features are more stable. This release includes NO social features. Like PSEW - this download includes the server backend.
